About Kristen

  Kristen Pease has enjoyed all things creativity since childhood. From sculpting Play-Doh roses at the dining room table to shaping mud pies in the backyard; drawing with charcoal and oil pastels, she has always appreciated a diverse range of mediums.

  Since graduating high school in 2019, Kristen has spent many hours pursuing her passion for painting oil on canvas and wheel-thrown pottery.

  Inspired by the works of Monet and Van Gogh, she particularly enjoys creating impressionistic and representational-type pieces.

  After attending classes at City Arts in Wichita, for a couple of years, Kristen now devotes most of her free time to forming a wide variety of useful and decorative stoneware items on her pottery wheel at home.

  She dreams of operating her own art gallery someday, where guests would be welcome to explore interactive areas, observe resident artists in action and enjoy top-notch baked goods in the coffee shop.
